Air conditioned by abundant, fresh, cooling mountain breezes.

Centrally located you'll have access galore to scenic spots, Red Rocks for concerts, National and State Parks, hiking trails for all abilities, fishing and horseback riding. The tiny river town of Bailey is 20 minutes away with a it's funky cafes.
Restaurants and shopping are a 20 minute drive towards Denver. Guanella Pass, one of Colorado's most scenic drives, particularly in autumn, is nearby.
When you are ready to explore, there are numerous options to keep you and your guests happy and entertained. Visit Evergreen, with its lovely shops and restaurants where you can ice skate in the winter, or paddleboard or kayak in the summer on a beautiful mountain lake. The spacious interior has two separate living areas for spreading out. The main room with fireplace (firewood provided) and the sunroom offer cozy places to gather or relax in solitude. The honeyed 1940's logs throughout the cabin glow with warmth and welcome.
The cabin has three bedrooms all with cozy comforters. The spacious master has a king size bed. Awaken to expansive mountain views in the second bedroom's queen bed. Enjoy the intimacy of the third bedroom with expansive views. Two bedrooms are on the main level. The third bedroom m on the lower level, offers additional privacy with a bathroom, washer & dryer.
Enjoy the outdoors from three distinct vantages; the glass wall sky deck with stunning 360 views, a large 20x30ft lower deck that's perfect for dining, relaxing, exercise and celebrations, and an outdoor cooking area with comfy furniture in the terraced yard. Have fun playing horseshoes, corn hole, washers and darts.
A fully equipped kitchen, outdoor grill and smoker make preparing meals a pleasure.
Be sure to bring food and beverage to last your stay. Its a short drive to major grocery stores, but guests never want to leave once they arrive.

Summary: My family of four had the most amazing time at Rich’s property. One of our daughters moved to Denver as a recent college grad. We wanted to come her way and celebrate together. The cabin is VERY cozy and spacious with all the amenities. We were able to feel at home even for being so far away from home. Rich is extremely responsive. The kitchen is well stocked and big so we could cook together with plenty of room. The master bedroom is spacious with a vaulted ceiling and beautiful furniture and a king bed. The whole place is stocked with whatever you could possibly need. And the views of the mountains is breathtaking. There are other properties nearby but it’s still extremely private. I would 10000% recommend staying here. Thank you Rich and family for making this so easy!:)

Summary: The cabin was just what we were looking for....rustic and a beautiful 360 view of the mountains. Cabin was very well stocked with everything needed to prepare a meal. We had a fabulous time and the owner was great, stay in touch and was willing to help with what ever was needed. I would defiantly stay again. Thank you Rich for a wonderful vacation.

Summary: Myself & 4 adult kids stayed at this cabin for a relaxing 5 days. It was a great place to stay to just unplug. We attended a concert in Morrison and spent the rest of the time enjoying the wildlife, peace and rest.

Summary: After staying on the other side of the valley, we switched to this property for our week and a half because of the availability. WHAT A GREAT SPOT! Faced the opposite way then usual we were blessed with great views from this cabin. The roof line goes to the top of the trees and then when you get up on the top of the Crow's Nest porch you get a full 360 degree look at the valley and mountains. Great place to relax and have a cocktail after a long drive. The owner told us everything we needed and the place was just so. Everything that we needed and more! Great place for jumping off to Red Rocks, Maroon Bells and the Georgetown Train tour that we had planned. Not Aspen or Vail nor Breckenridge but far more peaceful and out of the way! I have long preferered the Bailey area and it's people. I will gladly book my next trip in Colorado here! By the way somebody in the household is a foodie. We will have a cook-off one day!

Summary: We loved our stay! It was very private and we could enjoy the hot tub without neighbors. The wildlife was so fun to watch, even while we were in the hot tub they were 10 ft away just chilling. Rich was a great host and was available if we needed anything, but the cabin was well stocked and we didn’t need to bother him. I have told many friends and family that they should go visit and I plan on going back.
